Hey y’all, I’m Karli.

I’m a Savannah native turned Westfield mom. I’ve called Westfield, Indiana, home for the past six years with my husband, Rafael, and our two boys, and somewhere along the way this place very much became HOME.

A few years ago, as our boys started getting more involved in sports and we started spending a whole lot more time on sidelines and at fields around town, I remember asking a pretty simple question:

“Where can I order some cute Westfield gear?”

There were places to find spirit wear and plenty of talented people creating things locally, but I realized there wasn’t one solid answer to the question I was asking. I was looking for somewhere I could shop year-round, order online and have it shipped to my door. I’m a busy mom. At this point, if it doesn’t show up on my porch, I probably don’t have time to go get it.

I wanted a place with a mix of traditional hometown favorites and more modern designs that felt like things I’d wear whether I was headed to a game or not.

Three years later, I think I finally came up with an answer.

Lokal Collective.

The idea also came from something I noticed whenever I traveled. I’d come home with a great hat from a little shop, a sweatshirt with a city name across the front or some random tee I loved simply because the design was cool. And I kept wondering why I couldn’t shop for Westfield the same way.

Not one particular look or style. A collection of things you’d actually want to wear. That’s what I’m building with Lokal Collective.

Lokal looks different here.

You’ll find modern designs alongside traditional hometown favorites, a little nostalgia and some things that are simply fun. Pieces for Friday nights under the lights and Saturday mornings at the fields, but also for school drop-off, coffee runs, dinner with friends and all the regular days in between.

Because loving where you live shouldn’t mean wearing something you don’t.

And Lokal is meant to be easy. Shop online year-round, order what you love and have it shipped right to your door.

I’m starting with Westfield because it’s home, but the plan has always been to take Lokal beyond one town. Carmel, Zionsville and Noblesville are already on my list, with more communities to come. Have a town you think should be next? I’d love to hear it.

Curious about how Lokal works, where your order comes from or what to expect after you place an order? Head over to the FAQ page. I’ve tried to answer the things I’d want to know, too.

Thanks for being here, especially this early. I have a whole lot more planned, and I can’t wait to see where Lokal goes next.

And I can't wait to see local looking good on you.
